The proposals are for 100 new homes including 35% affordable housing, alongside public open space, landscaping and biodiversity improvements.
The new homes would include a range of two, three and four bedroom properties designed to appeal to first time buyers, growing families, downsizers, and older people looking to remain in the local area.
Pickering and the wider former Ryedale area faces an acute shortage of new homes, including affordable homes for local people. The proposals would help address this need in a sustainable location.
